Cream Scones

It is pretty hot and humid in these parts.  Not ideal scone making weather.  Even with freezing butter, the temp warms up quickly.  I was worried about making scones with my hands so I did a half batch of these in the food processor.  Put together in under 5 minutes with a tablespoon of chocolate chips thrown in.  I baked up four scones.

We’re doing a bit of remodeling around here and there is a layer of drywall and plaster dust over pretty much everything making it more difficult to bake.  I was able to get these scones in and some key lime pie ice cream (so refreshing).  I’ll post that recipe shortly.  In the meantime, I’m looking for some good recipes that combine chocolate and mint.  Anyone have a recipe to share?
