I made the recipe for this week’s Tuesdays with Dorie group almost a year ago before the group got going. As I remember, they were good but not good enough to replace some of my favorite brownie recipes. I love Dorie Greenspan’s bittersweet brownies and the Baked boys brownie recipe with spice via Smitten Kitchen.
So, instead of remaking the recipe for this week, I tried something new. I baked up Joy the Baker’s brownie recipe and turned them into German Chocolate brownies to give to a friend for her birthday (here’s the recipe for turning your favorite brownie recipe into German chocolate brownies).
